Steffi Jöris (*1987, Geldrop NL) graduated in contemporary dance at the Fontys Dance Academy (NL) in 2009. Among other projects, she worked as a dancer & performer with Meekers (NL), United-c (NL), So you think you can dance (USA), Erik Kaiel (NL), Jasper van Luijk (NL), Dirty feet dance company (UK), Salim Gauwloos (AT), Het Paleis (BE), makemake produktionen (AT) and Kopergietery (BE). For three years, Steffi Jöris was employed as a dancer with the Company De Dansers (NL). During this time she performed with a large number of children and youth performances in Europe. This was followed by an engagement with Dschungel Wien. Here she worked for three seasons as a dancer, performer and choreographer on various projects including her own piece “Ich gegen mich”, and toured with several productions worldwide at theatre and dance festivals, amongst others, Klikkerfestival (HRV), CAPE Ettelbruck (LUX), LOOSTIK Festival (FRA), Tweetakt (NL), Szene Bunte Wähne, Festival (AT), Children’s Arts Festival (TWN), Le Rue des Enfants (FRA) und Schäxpir Festival (AT). She was granted the STELLA14 – Prize for Performing Art as “outstanding performer”. As a choreographer she has worked with Die Heidie (AT), Hand.Werk.Kunst.e.V. – Turnation (DE), Schauspielschule Krauss (AT), TAO Graz (AT), Mezzanintheater Graz (AT), Kristallwerk Graz (AT) and Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus Junges Schauspiel (DE) among other projects. In 2015 Steffi Jöris co-founded “Körperverstand. Tanztheater Wien (AT)” together with Anna-Luise Braune. Her first piece “KörperVerstand” premiered in 2017. The same year her second piece “BrainGame“, a collaboration with Moritz Lembert, premiered and was later nominated for the STELLA18 – Prize for Performing Arts. In 2019 her third work “NoExcuse!” was released and awarded the STELLA19 – Prize for Performing Arts as Best 2019 Performance for Young Audience. In 2021 her fourth piece I-object came out in collaboration with the Belgian choreographer Charlotte Goesaert. Steffi Jöris lives and works in Vienna.

Born (*1986) in Bergen/Rügen Germany. From 2007 to 2013, Anna-Luise Braune completed her studies of journalism and communication sciences at the University of Vienna, which she graduated with a master’s degree and honors. She gained expertise in editorial and organizational matters by working as an editor or assistant director in companies such as the Ostsee-Zeitung, the media-monitoring agency Meta Communication International, the ORF and as a presenter at Radio Max. Together with Steffi Jöris she founded the company KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT) in December 2015. Their debut KörperVerstand premiered at Dschungel Wien in January 2017 followed by their second piece BrainGame in collaboration with Moritz Lembert, which was nominated for the STELLA18 Performing.Arts.Award. Their third piece NoExcuse! was released in January 2019 and was awarded the STELLA19 in the category “Outstanding Production for Young People”. Anna-Luise Braune lives in Vienna and works, besides her work for KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN, as presenter, newsreader and deputy editor-in-chief at an Austrian radio station.

Maartje Pasman (1988) is a Dutch performer and artist based in Vienna. She performed in the works of Florentina Holzinger, Renate Graziadei, Wies Merkx, Keren Levi and many more and was a company member of De Dansers (NL) and Dschungel Wien ensemble (AT) for many years. As a performer, Maartje has played in countless of pieces for young audiences which brought her worldwide, performing on Ubumuntu Festival (RW), ASSITEJ Festival (KOR), Tweetakt (NL), SWOP (DEN) amongst others. She was granted the Stella14 – Prize for Performing Art as “outstanding performer” and danced in “Roses” (Wies Merkx) and “Couple Like#2” (Keren Levi &Ugo Dehaes) which where both prized for “best outstanding performance for young audiences.” As a freelance artist her artistic collaborations where seen at  SCHÄXPIR Festival (AT) and she worked together with D.ID – Dance Identity (AT), Wiener Konzerthaus/JEUNESSE (AT), hetPALEIS (BE), Stadttheater Konstanz (DE) and many more. Maartje holds a BA Contemporary Dance from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (2010) and is holder of the danceWEB-scholarship for ImPulsTanzfestival 2018, the Start-Stipendium 2018 from Bundeskanzleramt Österreich and the Arbeitstipendium 2020 from the City of Vienna. Maartje is part of the collective KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT) & tanz.suchttheater and she is always looking for new artistic ways to create high quality performances for young audiences.

Moritz Lembert (* 1993) grew up in Vienna and devoted himself to the hip-hop dance as a teenager. From 2011-2013 he graduated a private dance education with focus on urban dance styles. From 2013 to 2014 he continued his education in the fields of contemporary and house dance as part of the super soul program. In 2015, he started his studies in classical and contemporary dance at the Vienna University of Music and Arts. In addition to his training, he worked as a dance coach and guest choreographer for TANZ DIE TOLERANZ and ICH BIN OK. Since 2012 he is working in Vienna as a freelance dancer, furthermore at DSCHUNGEL WIEN and also is a permanent member of KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT) since 2015. In 2017 he created his first piece BrainGame together with KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN, which was nominated for the STELLA18 Performing.Arts.Award for young audiences in the category “Outstanding Production for Young People”. Rino Indrawan Indiono (*1987) was born in Depok, Indonesia. He studied Contemporary Dance Pedagogy at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität, is a three-time prize winner of the Fidelio Competition of the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität (2010, 2012, 2013) and has participated in numerous dance and performance projects worldwide, including with Wen Liu and Marian Weger (Monster, ICMC Festival, Ljubljana 2012), Wiener Blut (Operetta Festival in Fuzhou/China 2011), Lina Maria Venegas (How far to go, Kosmos Theater Festival 2012). In 2013 he joined  the ensemble of DSCHUNGEL WIEN and was cast in several productions i.e.  „Spiegelspiele“, “Robin Hood” and “Mein Kleines Meer“. Together with DSCHUNGEL WIEN dancers Maartje Pasman and Steffi Jöris, he was awarded with the STELLA14 – Performing.Arts.Award in the category „Most Outstanding Performance”. Since December 2015 he is part of the association KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT). He lives and works in Vienna.

Born 1990 in Vienna (Austria) with Guatemalan roots, he lived from ages sixth to eighth in Mexico. From an early age he discovered his passion for dancing. Kirin España gained his first dance experience in private dance training at BIGSMILE 2010 in Vienna. As a dance teacher, he started his first classes  for various dance clubs, summer dance camps during his training and subsequently held numerous workshops. As an artist, performer and dancer, he gained experience in the inclusive dance company ICH BIN OK in 2012. Until today he has been an active member and cast in several productions and thus participated in various dance festivals and competitions internationally (Special Olympics, VIBE 2016 -1st place, Inclusive Dance Festival Russia 2017 1st place). He was able to gain additional show experience together with the crew FRUITASTICS (Frequenzy) and the agency DANCE INDUSTRY. In 2017 he joined the companies SILK FLUEGGE and KÖRPERVERSTAND. Markus Jakisic (* 1975) grew up in St.Pölten, Lower Austria. As a child and teenager he learned to play the piano. From 1998 to 2002 he studied jazz piano at the Vienna Conservatory with Karl-Heinz Leschanz. Since then he has been working as a freelance musician, composer and arranger in bands, theater and dance projects including the Burgtheater, Dschungel Wien, Szene Bunte Wähne, Porgy & Bess, Popfest Wien, Jazzwerkstatt Wien and many more. His concert tours took him to different countries in Europe and South America. A main focus of his work is the programming of synthesizers (analog, virtual analog, software). Since 2015 he is an active member of WERK89 and the company KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT). He lives and works in Vienna.

MA MMus, born (*1983) in Graz and raised in England and Austria. He studied Saxophone Jazz at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, with Karlheinz Miklin, Don Mensa and Gerald Preinfalk. Graduated in June 2008 with Master of Arts, as well as additional studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, with Wolfgang Puschnig. Since 2004 also studies of classical South Indian singing with Dr. K. S. Subramanian and Usha Narasimhan at the “Chennai Institute for Music of the World”, India. In September 2009, he completed his Master’s degree in music ethnology at Goldsmiths College, University of London, as the best student of the year. Since July 2015 studies of the Carnatic and hindustani Konokol with Muthu Kumar, Rhythm Shala, Bangalore. Patrick Dunst lives as a freelance musician and composer in Vienna and leads and composes for his own ensembles: Impulse Percussion, Virtues, Tribal Dialects, Tripod, the Duo Naima with the Congolese author Fiston Mwanza Mujila. Compositional collaboration with: Special Olympics Opening Ceremony 2017 in collaboration with the Vienna State Ballet, I AM OK Company, Dundu. DIE HEIDI – Puls (nomination STELLA17 in the category outstanding music), aXe Körpertheater (2014-2017), Styrian Chamber Music Festival 2017. since 2018 he is a permanent member of the association KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT).

Cornelia Voglmayr was born in Vienna in 1988 and graduated in 2006 at the Vienna Music High School. In 2012 she graduated from her studies in “Dance Theater” at the “TrinityLaban – conservatoire for music and dance” / London (UK) with first class honors and received her bachelor’s degree. During this time, she was awarded the dance scholarship bm: uk twice. In 2015, she successfully completed her diploma studies in Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna under the title Mag.a Phil. She was a member of the Jasmin Vardimon Company (JV2) 2012/2013 (London / UK) and worked with Sasha Waltz, Jasmin Vardimon, Matteo Fargion, Michael Turinsky, Mafalda Deville, Tim Casson, Lizzie Kew Ross and Susan Sentler. As a choreographer she traveled with her pieces to Italy, Denmark, England, France, Norway and the Netherlands. She works as a freelance dancer and choreographer. Since 2017 she is a member of KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT).

Claire Blake (* 1985), born in Dublin (IRL) is a costume designer and prospective director with an experimental approach to opera and musical theater. After completing her training as a costume designer at the Edinburgh College of Art from 2008 to 2011, she immediately started a Master-programme in Performance Design and Practice at Central Saint Martins in London were she also directed and wrote screen-plays. She is an active member of the  board of the MO.Ë Vienna, and chairwoman of KoKo: COLLABORATIVE KOLLEKTIV – Association for New Music Theater and Opera in Vienna. Claire Blake worked for the Scottish Opera, Edinburgh Fringe, Traverse Theater Edinburgh, the Vienna Pocket Opera, Sirene Opera Theater, Bahamut Productions and DSCHUNGEL WIEN. Since 2015 she is also a member of KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT). She lives and works in Vienna.

Marianne Sophie Huber (*1996, Austria) is studying theatre, film and media studies and Romance languages and literature at the University of Vienna. In 2017 she was employed at the WUK in Vienna, working at the WUk children’s theater and other cultural events taking place there. From autumn 2017 to summer 2018 she completed two semesters at the Université Jean Moulin in Lyon. From June to October 2018, she worked as an assistant director on the piece “Play!” by choreographer Karolien Verlinden in Dschungel Wien and Hetpaleis Antwerp. Since the end of October she has been working as assistant director and production assistant in Steffi Jöris’ association KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT) she participated in the creation of NoExcuse!

Born in Bavaria, (* 1984) she grew up in Garmisch – Partenkirchen. After gaining some experience as an actress in the independent scene in Berlin, she studied acting at the music and art private university of the city of Vienna (2008-2012). She is was awarded with MUK’s Fidelio Competition and during her studies already worked with Schorsch Kamerun, Markus Mayer, Michael Moritz, Annegret Ritzel, Melanie Kretschmann, Stefan Bachmann and others. From 2012 – 2013 she followed an intense dance training at the Tanzfabrik Berlin. Subsequently, she worked as an actress and production assistant in film and theater productions in Vienna, Berlin, Munich and Cologne (mong others with Claudia Hay) as well as in “Die Konferenz der Tiere” (winner of “Jungwild 2015”) and at the Luisenburgfestspiele in Wunsiedel (Bavaria, beside Michael Lerchenberg and Michael Altmann). In addition, Eva Bauriedl worked as a dubbing actress for various production companies in Munich. Since 2016 she is a member of KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT) and already participated in „Ich Gegen Mich“ as a speaker and coach. She lives and works in Vienna and Munich.

Born in Burglengenfeld (Bavaria), he studied acting at the academy of performing arts (AdK) Ulm and at the Vienna Conservatory. This was followed by engagements at the Reichenau Festival, the National Theater of Korea, the Kijimuna festa (Japan), the song song Theater (Hong Kong), the SAMART Festival (Russia), the Chamber Theater Jekatarinburg (Russia), the Taipei International children’s Arts Festival (Taiwan), Dschungel Wien, Werk X Wien, Wien Modern, the Luisenburg Festival Wunsiedel and the Fränkisches Theater Schloss Maßbach. Michael Pöllmann also worked as assistant director at the Regensburg Theatre, the Volkstheater in Vienna and at the Szene Bunte Wähne Festival. With DIRTY RICH he made his directorial debut. Since then, numerous productions have followed, including for Dschungel Wien, Theater des Kindes Linz, Konzerthaus, Szene Bunte Wähne, Basis Kultur Wien, Marionettentheater Schwandorf, Brunnenpassage and werk89. His works have been awarded the Young Talent Award (young theatre), the Offspring Young Talent Award (young choreography) and the Stella Performing.art.prize (young theatre) in Austria and internationally with the Cultural Promotion Prize der Oberpfalz, the jury prize of the theatre festival Subotica, the audience prize of the theatre festival Belgrade and the audience prize of the theatre festival Sarajevo.
