Maartje Pasman

Maartje Pasman (1988) is a Dutch performer and artist based in Vienna. She performed in the works of Florentina Holzinger, Renate Graziadei, Wies Merkx, Keren Levi and many more and was a company member of De Dansers (NL) and Dschungel Wien ensemble (AT) for many years. As a performer, Maartje has played in countless of pieces for young audiences which brought her worldwide, performing on Ubumuntu Festival (RW), ASSITEJ Festival (KOR), Tweetakt (NL), SWOP (DEN) amongst others. She was granted the Stella14 – Prize for Performing Art as „outstanding performer“ and danced in „Roses“ (Wies Merkx) and „Couple Like#2“ (Keren Levi &Ugo Dehaes) which where both prized for „best outstanding performance for young audiences.“ As a freelance artist her artistic collaborations where seen at  SCHÄXPIR Festival (AT) and she worked together with D.ID – Dance Identity (AT), Wiener Konzerthaus/JEUNESSE (AT), hetPALEIS (BE), Stadttheater Konstanz (DE) and many more. Maartje holds a BA Contemporary Dance from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (2010) and is holder of the danceWEB-scholarship for ImPulsTanzfestival 2018, the Start-Stipendium 2018 from Bundeskanzleramt Österreich and the Arbeitstipendium 2020 from the City of Vienna. Maartje is part of the collective KÖRPERVERSTAND. TANZTHEATER WIEN (AT) & tanz.suchttheater and she is always looking for new artistic ways to create high quality performances for young audiences.
